The course programme offered by the Faculty of Mathematics are wide-ranging. It is divided into the following degree programmes:
Graduates in mathematics have excellent career prospects, e.g. in research, schools and business. After completing the Master's degree, a doctorate is possible in both the subject-specific and didactic fields:
Student counselling service
If you have any questions about your studies, you can contact the Faculty's and the University's student counselling services at any time.
Cooperation space (Lernzentrum)
Individual support that allows sufficient space for subject-related discussions and questions is of central importance when studying mathematics. Students are offered a place to learn and work together in the Cooperation space "Lernzentrum", which was set up by the faculty in cooperation with the departmental student representative committee. Temporary supervision by research assistants reinforces the success of this project.
Semester abroad
